and,
WHAT ABOUT MARRIAGE is a programme aimed at senior secondary
students and can be conducted over two 3 hour sessions or alternatively
as a full day seminar. Programmes can be negotiated to meet the needs
of individual schools.
First session:
Stepping Stones to a Happy Marriage aims to assist students to
value their gift of sexuality and lead them to an awareness that
chastity both before and during marriage is a cornerstone to a lasting
relationship.
Second session:
Creating Family aims to raise an awareness of the need for
knowledge and protection of the gift of fertility. Medical
presentations are followed by discussion on the philosophy behind the
Billings Ovulation Method of natural family planning as a "Relationship
Method" and a "Healthy Alternative". An optional private interview
session for students is available.
These programmes give students a unique opportunity to discuss the
important area of sexuality at a decisive time in their lives with a
caring and empathetic adult who is anonymous to them. Student
evaluations indicate that the vast majority appreciate this opportunity.
